FAQs

CAN I SEE THE ARTWORK IN REAL LIFE?
Yes! Most of Abbie’s work is in SW London or at her studio in Kent. She understands that buying art online is often tricky, so she’d be happy for you to come and see her work before you buy. If you are unable to visit, then Abbie can send more detailed photographs or videos by email. Please message Abbie directly here.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ORIGINAL, A PRINT AND A COMMISSION?
All paintings are original pieces of art, handmade by Abbie.

Commissions are essentially requests, so are a collaboration between a client and Abbie. To read more about the process, please read on here for more information.

Prints are reproductions of original art-works. High resolution photographs are taken and then the image is printed on the highest quality, fine art, archival paper. All prints are marked with their limited edition number and signed by Abbie.

I’M CONSIDERING A COMMISSION…
Abbie loves to collaborate with clients to create personal pieces for their home or work space. She can meet with clients to personalise and tailor the brief and discuss the size, composition and colour palette. While every piece of Abbie’s work is one-of-a-kind, if you’ve fallen in love with one of her previous works, she can create a piece in a kindred style.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ART?
A painting is happiest left on a wall out of direct sunlight and in a room with a consistent temperature. Extreme variations in temperature can cause paper, canvas, board and wood to move beyond repair.

CAN I BUY GIFT VOUCHERS?
Yes! The paintings are popular gifts for weddings and milestone birthdays and the ACA eGift Card allows the recipient to choose their piece, so please purchase an ACA eGift Card online or contact Abbie to find out more about gifting a beautiful, bespoke Commission here.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU SHOWCASE NEW WORK?
Abbie plans to launch a new Capsule Collection of work in Spring Summer 2021 with a variety of sizes of art. Work is already underway behind the scenes. If you’d like to be kept in touch on the launch, email Abbie here

EVENTS
During the global pandemic, sadly all events have been postponed. As soon as it becomes safe and possible to hold events, Abbie will share dates and locations on instagram, which can be visited here.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY ARTWORK ARRIVES DAMAGED?
All artwork is handled with the utmost care during the printing and packaging process. In the unlikely event of your delivery being damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging PRIOR to opening the delivery and photograph the damaged work inside. A photo and summary of damage must then be sent to Abbie. Please note returns cannot accepted without prior communication.
